Overview & Course Description – Dawley Institute of Technology
The Turner & Machinist Course at Dawley Institute of Technology is an intensive eight-week program designed to provide strong knowledge and practical skills in machining and mechanical engineering. The course includes lectures, hands-on training, and practical assignments to ensure both theoretical understanding and real-world experience.
In the early weeks, students will learn the basics of mechanical drawing, material science, and machine operation. As the course progresses, they will gain hands-on experience with advanced machining techniques, including CNC machine operations, precision measurement, and equipment maintenance.
Certification
